Joymakers (formerly Polkey Folks) gather the first Tuesday of every month for food and fellowship. We have a wonderful group of senior adults who like to be active and experience Christian activities. Watch the bulletin board in the fellowship hallway for pictures and planned activities. COME JOIN US! JOYMAKERS SCHEDULE * 2010 January 5 - Chili Cook-off in Fellowship Hall. Bring a pot of your favorite chili. Bread, salad and make-you-own sundaes provided. February 2 - Lakeland Cancer Center - there will be a free lunch and a learning program. The van will leave FBC @ 11:15am. Sign-up with Jane Crowell @ 866-874-4055. If you plan to drive, the time will be 12pm - 1:30pm March 2 - Go Fly A Kite! At Al & Jane Crowell's home. Make or bring a kite to fly, or a remote controlled airplane, etc. April 6 - Guest Speaker at the Church May 4 - In Honor of Mother's Day Planting. Lunch in Fellowship Hall. Come and get your hands dirty. You will be contacted or notified for food to bring *subject to change |
